On The Road With Unique Mozzie Coil Creations
As we travel Oz in our caravan I make and sell Mozzi Coil Hangers, hang them wherever suits you, clip your coil onto the peg and light the coil from the centre, now sit back and relax.
After a covid redundancy allowed me to retire early, hubby and I have been able to travel in our caravan much more and we usually spend about 8mths a year traveling with our 13yr Labradoodle.
But I needed something to keep my hands busy, after making originally for family and friend I now make and sell my mozzie coil hangers as we travel, as I hate mozzies, even though they seems to love me.
These are perfect for caravanning and camping, there are made with a wooden centrepiece and beads on a sturdy wire, you just hang wherever suits you, clip your mozzie coil onto the peg and light the coil from the centre.
So many people initially seem confused about lighting the coil from the centre, but it still works, it just burns from the inside out, until it hits the peg, then extinguishes itself and if like me you break coils when separating them, just attach the pieces and light the other end, no wastage.
Lets face it we all hate mozzies and we need to keep it light weight when traveling, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have something unique.
I have made them specifically to match caravan logo colours as well as interior colour schemes. I have been blown away by some of the amazing combinations that have been requested, I would never have thought them, but they alway look amazing.
