Welcome to Marine Hotel located by the beautiful beach in Cardwell, Tropical Far North Queensland.
The Marine Hotel has been serving food and alcohol since 1864, when settlers first arrived in Cardwell.
It was the first licenced establishment in Queensland.
The structure of the hotel has changed a few times over the years, with it first being a two storey hotel, but now being a single storey building with a veranda all round overlooking the beautiful Coral Sea.
The Owners, Alan and Margaret Power have leased the hotel since December 2006 and have made extensive changes to both the Hotel, Motel and Bottle Shop throughout the years. On the 6th March, 2020 they purchased the freehold property.
They strive to offer excellent service to their local customers and visitors to the Hotel.

The hotel has a great atmosphere, plenty of friendly locals and happy staff. The meals that I have had there have been very good. Motel rooms are clean, cool and comfortable. Great Pub, great people and great location..
